What if no-one is at the delivery address to receive the flowers?

In the instance that the recipient is not there to receive the flower delivery, our courier will assess if it is safe to leave the flowers at the front, side or back door of the delivery address and if it is not safe a calling card will be left at the property to advise the recipient to call us to arrange another delivery time or address that’s more suitable (additional charges may apply). You may give us your authority to leave the flowers at the front or back door of the delivery address, if you feel that it is safe, via the “order notes” field provided on the recipient’s details order page, however, if the flowers are stolen or damaged it will not be the responsibility of Richmond Florist to replace or refund the flowers and delivery fee so for this reason we would encourage you to find a more secure alternative for the delivery.

We call every recipient to ensure that there will be someone there to receive the flowers and to also check that the delivery address is correct and/or if there are any special delivery instructions to make the delivery more efficient for the courier.
