What if no-one is at the delivery address to receive the flowers?

In the instance that the recipient is not there to receive the flower delivery, our courier will assess if it is safe to leave the flowers at the front, side or back door of the delivery address and if it is not safe a calling card will be left at the property to advise the recipient to call us to arrange another delivery time or address that's more suitable (additional charges may apply). You may give us your authority to leave the flowers at the front or back door of the delivery address, if you feel that it is safe, via the "order notes" field provided on the recipient's details order page, however, if the flowers are stolen or damaged it will not be the responsibility of Richmond Florist to replace or refund the flowers and delivery fee so for this reason we would encourage you to find a more secure  alternative for the delivery.

What are your shop trading hours?

We are open 365 days of the year. From Monday to Friday we are open from 8.30am to 8.30pm. On Saturdays we are open from 9am to 6pm and Sundays & Public holidays we are open from 10am to 6pm.

Do you sell potted plants?

We generally always have Phalaenopsis orchid plants in stock for most of the year and seasonal/special occasion plants as they are available. Check online or call us on 03 9421 5885 to find out what is in season/stock. Please note: Hospitals generally do not allow potted plants to be delivered to the wards.

Will the flowers I have ordered look exactly as displayed on the website?

We will always create the bouquet or arrangement to look as much as possible like the flowers pictured on the website, however at certain times of the year, some flower varieties may be out of season or may not meet the high standard of quality that we consistently maintain in our store, so in this instance we would substitute these flowers with other varieties of similar colour and texture and of equal or greater value.

If I place my order online, how will I know that you have received it?

You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after placing your order online. After we have processed your order you will then receive another email to advise you that we are in the process of creating and delivering your flowers. Finally, once your flowers have been successfully delivered to the recipient we will send you a third and final email to confirm that your order is complete.

Do you phone the recipient prior to delivery?

We call every recipient to ensure that there will be someone there to receive the flowers and to also check that the delivery address is correct and/or if there are any special delivery instructions to make the delivery more efficient for the courier.

Can I request a specific time for delivery?

Except for funerals, we cannot guarantee a specific delivery time, however if you do have a time requirement for your flower delivery, please call us on 03 9421 5885 to discuss your options as we always endeavour to fulfill our customer's requests, if possible, as best we can.

Which days do you deliver?

We deliver from Monday to Saturday, 365 days of the year, except on public holidays. Delivery on Sundays is only available within the Epworth Hospital, Richmond Campus with the exception of Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.

Can you organise for flowers to be delivered interstate and overseas?

As we are a member of Interflora we can arrange for flowers to be delivered throughout Australia and Internationally. Please phone us on 03 9421 5885 to dicuss your options and to arrange for flower delivery interstate or overseas.

Do you deliver on Sundays?

On Sundays we only deliver to Epworth Hospital Richmond.

What is the deadline for guaranteed same day delivery?

From Monday to Friday, same day delivery is guaranteed if the order is placed by 2pm AEST. For Saturday deliveries, orders must be placed by 10am AEST for guaranteed same day delivery. If your flower delivery is urgent please call us on 03 9421 5885 to discuss your options.

What type of credit cards do you accept?

We accept Mastercard, Visa and Bankcard via our online store and American Express and Diners via telephone orders only. Please be aware that credit card payments should never be sent via email as this type of transmission is insecure.

Are the product prices in Australian Dollars?

All product prices on our website are quoted in Australian dollars and include GST.
